MMCCU welcomes Shelly Hughes as Head of Mortgages

MARSHFIELD, WI (Submitted to OnFocus) – MMCCU is pleased to welcome Shelly Hughes to the team as Head of Mortgages. She has lived in central Wisconsin all her life, graduated from Marshfield High School and now lives in Stratford. She started her banking career in 1989 as a teller and worked her way up through the years, working as a loan processor and now a loan officer for the past 20 years.

“We are thrilled to have Shelly join our mortgage team,” said Jerry Litwaitis, Vice President of Lending. “His vast experience and great personality will be a great addition and allow us to better serve our members and their mortgage needs.”

“We are delighted to be able to better serve members with Shelly’s expertise and wealth of knowledge as a mortgage lender,” added David Murphy, President of MMCCU.

” I like helping people. I am very pleased with the end result knowing that they are happy with the experience and the services that were provided,” said Hughes. “I’m an open-minded, straightforward person who speaks like it’s with a kind heart and a helping attitude.”

In his free time, Hughes enjoys taking walks with his 19-year-old daughter who is currently attending nursing school and her 4-legged child (a 2-year-old silver lab named Jack Jack) and breathing in the fresh air of the country. She also likes to go to auctions to find “treasures”.

“There’s just something I love and appreciate about old/vintage items that you don’t always find with new ones,” she said. “I also collect Red Wing slow cookers – the ones your grandma made sauerkraut with, not the ones you wear on your feet – I have quite an extensive collection.”
