Legence Announces McGinnis as New Head of Mortgages | News

ELDORADO – Legence Bank Head Office has announced the addition of Dakota McGinnis as the new Head of Mortgages for the Metropolis Market.

“Dakota brings a wealth of knowledge in sales, management and tax accountability,” said Kevin Beckemeyer, president and CEO of the bank. “His background in management and finance will be a tremendous asset.”

As Head of Mortgages, McGinnis will focus on strategy, growth and community development in Metropolis, as well as other markets in southern Illinois.

“He has extensive experience in developing business relationships and working with clients to customize products and services to their financial needs. His experience in sales and client management will be a great benefit to our business as we continue to grow our mortgage services,” said Sandy Pemberton, the bank’s vice president of mortgages. “We are excited about Dakota’s ability to collaborate and build relationships. He will be a tremendous asset to our mortgage team at Legence Bank.

McGinnis earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Southern Illinois University. He brings several years of experience, as well as a deep understanding of logistical, managerial and operational dynamics.

McGinnis is a member of Waldo Baptist Church in Brookport. He enjoys working with children through his volunteering as a youth softball coach.
